Step 1 Connect your Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300/S4/S5/S6/S7 to PC.

2) Your device should be on XXUFMB3 Android 4.2.1 software version.
3) Back up all data on your device as a precause, to prevent data from losing.
1. Download CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.zip
2. Download Odin3
Step 1. After downloading the ZIP files, extract them.
Step 2. Switch your device off, and go to the Download Mode on it. How? Press and hold the Volume Down and Home buttons at the same time, and then press the Power button untill you see the construction Android robot and a triangle. Press the Power button again to confirm to enter into the Download Mode.
Step 3. Make sure you have your Galaxy S3 USB drivers installed on your computer. If you don't have, you can download it here.
Step 4. Open Odin3 on your computer. Connect your phone to your computer while your phone is in the Download Mode.
Step 5. If your phone is connected successfully, one of the ID:COM boxes will turn yellow with the COM port number. This step might take some time.
Step 6. Now select the root package file that you have to flash/install on your phone. These files are to be found from the extracted file in Step 1.
Then tick off PDA and browse to select the file CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.tar to load it in.
Step 7. In ODIN, check the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options. Do NOT touch any other options.
Step 8. Now click on the Start button in ODIN. Installation process will start and would take a few minutes to complete.
Step 9. After the installation is completed, your phone will restart. After you see the home screen, unplug your phone from the computer.
That's it. Your Samsung Galaxy S III has now been rooted on Android 4.2.1 build XXUFMB3 software update. Check for the Superuser app in your apps list to verify.
