After backing up old driver data, open “Device Manager” and find out “Apple iPhone” in the “Portable devices” tab. Now right click on the “Apple iPhone” and click on “Update Driver Software”.

Quit iTunes from the taskbar and close all services relate to iTunes. Uninstall iTunes from the program in control panel. After uninstalling iTunes, some files will still be there in your computer. You need to delete these files. To delete them follow below steps.

Open my computer and go in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple. If this folder is available, delete it.

Now in my computer C drive follow path C:\User\Username (Your computer username)\AppData\Local\Apple\ and \Apple Computer. If any folder is there, then delete this folder.

In C drive go to C:\User\Username\My Music and check if there is any folder with name iTunes in my music. If there is, please delete it.

Once you have followed the above steps properly and removed iTunes completely from your computer restart your computer. After restarting computer, download and install the latest version of iTunes from the apple website again. Now try to connect your iPhone with computer by using right cable.
