Even though LG never marketed itself as a phone-making company initially, they’ve managed to introduce really good handsets every year. Despite their incredible battery life and durability, LG phones are extremely underrated due to tough competition from other brands like Samsung or OnePlus, who are more popular.
LG launched its first ‘G’ series phone back in 2012, but that was a spin-off of their Optimus brand which was later discontinued. Soon after that, they introduced the “LG G2” model which gained massive popularity in very little time. All their G-series handhelds sported unique features. The G3 brought us a quad-HD display, the G4 came with attractive leather backs, and last year, we saw a modular design on the G5.
LG’s new flagship model, the G6, is by far the best looking LG G phone that packs a bunch of awesome features like water resistance and better camera specs. What’s different about this phone is that it offers an 18:9 screen ratio with a major overhaul in design.
While LG phones come with great features and UI design, they still lack in providing users with a proper solution to manage content such as music, photos, videos, and other important data. Considering the large memory capacities of smartphones today and increasingly busy lives of people, this is surely the need of the hour.
